Dr. Mark Shaw is the founder of The Addiction Connection, a network of Commissioned Addictions Biblical Counselors (CABC) who offer the “Hope of the Gospel for the Heart of Addiction.”

The discussion delves into the wonderful fruitfulness of the biblical soul care approach to dealing with addictions of all kinds.

Dr. Shaw's definition of addiction: “The persistent habitual thoughts, words, and actions associated with excessive pleasure-seeking which are known by the user to be harmful and physically enslaving, sinful and willful choices to disobey God, whether they acknowledge that or not.”
